Eames Consulting are collaborating with a market-leading, PE-backed specialist clinical services provider to appoint a Chief Financial Officer. As a key strategic partner to the CEO, you will drive financial rigour, lead the organisation through a period of transformative growth, and spearhead the preparation for a future liquidity event.


Title: Chief Financial Officer

Location: West Midlands

Work Pattern: Hybrid, 3 Days Office

Salary: £160,000 – £200,000 + Equity (MIP)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a critical advisor to the CEO and Board, shaping the long-term roadmap and driving initiatives that maximize enterprise value.
  • Professionalisation: Lead the evolution of the finance function, embedding advanced digital reporting, robust governance, and disciplined performance frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for PE investors, lenders, and external regulatory partners, ensuring absolute transparency and credibility.
  • Capital & Cash Mastery: Manage a leveraged balance sheet with a focus on optimized cash flow, working capital efficiency, and debt compliance.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement scalable financial controls and KPIs across multiple sites to support rapid expansion and operational consistency.
  • Exit Readiness: Oversee the preparation of the business for a successful exit, managing due diligence and ensuring the "equity story" is backed by high-quality data.

Skills:

  • PE Pedigree: Proven experience as a CFO within a Private Equity-backed environment is essential.
  • Sector Expertise: Experience in multi-site operations (e.g., Healthcare, Consumer Services, or regulated Clinical environments).
  • Transaction Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing exits, refinancing, or complex M&A cycles.
  • Agility: A hands-on leader who can operate at a strategic level while remaining close to the operational details.

Package:

  • Base Salary: £160,000 – £200,000 (DOE)
  • Equity: Significant Management Incentive Plan (MIP) / Carry
