Start-up - AI focused

An early-stage insurance technology company is seeking an individual to bridge the gap between its platform and the needs of insurers.

This is a highly visible role combining hands-on engineering with senior client engagement. You will configure and deploy digital product journeys, integrate with policy administration systems, quoting engines and data feeds, and translate data between the platform and insurers' existing architectures.

You will work directly with carriers and MGAs to scope new partnerships, solve complex integration challenges and identify opportunities to improve the core platform. You will also help define what an effective AI-enabled insurance journey looks like in production.

The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance, insurtech or a closely related sector, with a practical understanding of how carriers, MGAs and intermediaries operate. You should be comfortable working with APIs, data mapping and system integrations, and already familiar with agentic development tools such as Claude Code, LangGraph or equivalent.

You will join the founding team and gain direct exposure to senior stakeholders across the UK insurance market from day one.

This role is open to actuaries and non-actuaries - ideally you would of have exposure to personal lines insurance. Any Lloyds experience is advantageous.
