Risk Engineer - Power & Renewables

Eames Consulting is supporting a leading global insurer in hiring a Risk Engineer within their Power & Renewables division.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong engineering experience in power generation, turbines, or renewable energy who wants to move into a more strategic, analytical and client-facing role.

The Role

• Carry out desk-based and on-site risk assessments
• Analyse power plants, renewable energy assets, and construction projects
• Produce clear technical reports for underwriting decisions
• Advise clients on risk improvements and loss prevention
• Work closely with internal technical, underwriting and claims teams

What We're Looking For

You must have experience in at least one of the following:

• Power generation
• Turbines (gas, steam, or wind)
• Renewable energy (wind, solar, hydro, etc.)

This can be from:

• Risk Engineering / Risk Surveying / Loss Control
• Commissioning Engineering
• Project Engineering (in industry)
• Operations or Maintenance Engineering within power or renewables

Engineering degree required (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Process or similar).
