Associate Consultant (Wind Up Team)

Location: UK-wide (Hybrid/Remote)

A leading UK pensions consultancy is looking for an Associate Consultant to support the delivery of defined benefit pension scheme wind-ups. You'll work closely with trustee boards and sponsors, managing projects from planning through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead/support scheme wind-up projects

• Liaise with trustees, sponsors, and insurers

• Oversee project plans, timelines, and deliverables

• Provide technical input on funding, surplus distribution, and de-risking

• Maintain strong client relationships and clear audit trails

• Stay up to date with pensions legislation and best practice

About You:

• Experience in DB pensions (actuarial, admin, or trustee support)

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Proactive, detail-focused, and client-oriented
