Job Title: Delivery Manager - Security Operations Support (SFIA Level 4)
Location: Hybrid - 3 days on-site in London, 2 days remote
Rate: £400/day (Inside IR35)
Clearance: SC Cleared (active and used within the last 12 months)
Contract Length: 6 months (with likely extension)

Overview:

We are looking for a mid-level Delivery Manager (SFIA Level 4) to join a high-profile UK Government programme, supporting the Security Operations function. This is not a SOC role - instead, the position blends delivery management with some aspects of cyber threat intelligence, security incident support, and security communications.

The role is ideal for someone with strong delivery and task management experience, who thrives in fast-paced environments, and who can coordinate cross-functional workstreams. While cyber security experience is a plus, it's not essential - the client is open to someone with the right delivery skills and the appetite to grow into the security space.

You must have active SC Clearance and recent HMG experience (within the last 12 months).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive delivery across the Security Operations team, coordinating work, resources, and priorities

  • Manage team workflow, task tracking, and delivery schedules

  • Support day-to-day incident management and coordination of actions/responses

  • Contribute to handling and triaging security threats and associated intelligence

  • Create and manage security-related communications, reports, and status updates

  • Use Agile and Scrum methodologies to manage delivery and team cadences

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Current SC Clearance (must have been in use within the last 12 months)

  • Recent experience working within HMG (His Majesty's Government)

  • Proven experience in delivery or project management roles, ideally in fast-paced environments

  • Background in incident management, reporting, and structured workflow oversight

  • Demonstrable experience in task management, prioritisation, and stakeholder engagement

  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum team

Desirable Skills (not essential):

  • Exposure to cyber threat intelligence or incident response processes

  • Awareness of government security protocols and standards

  • Experience working within or supporting security operations functions
