Finance Director, Fintech

Our client, one of the financial services companies, looking for a highly experienced and motivated Finance Director of Regulatory Reporting (APAC). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial regulations, extensive knowledge of reporting requirements, and the ability to interpret complex regulations. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with all regulatory obligations and enhancing the reporting framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report to Head of Finance, overseeing the regulatory finance functions for APAC regions and establish strategic objectives and ensuring alignment with company goals
• Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory reports to relevant authorities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Collaborate with data management teams to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of data used in regulatory reporting
• Familiarize yourself with the safeguarding controls in APAC regulated entities and collaborate with the appropriate finance and treasury teams to retrieve daily reports and refresh the safeguarding file
• Identify potential compliance risks related to reporting and implement strategies to mitigate those risks
• Drive initiatives to enhance reporting processes, utilizing technology and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services sector, related to regulatory reporting, financial compliance
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Experience with ERP system is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Less experience will be considered as Senior Manager
