Senior Actuary - Reinsurance

Our client, a highly renowned London Market Insurer, is looking to make a senior hire within their reinsurance business. The successful individual will take ownership of the portfolio optimisation and pricing activity for reinsurance.

This is a truly exciting company where culture plays a huge factor in everything they do.

In this role you will be commercially focused and stakeholder facing, engaging with underwriters and building effective working relationships. You will be leading and driving the tooling for property reinsurance, and helping to achieve the business' strategic goals alongside other responsibilities.

You will be managing 2 direct reports.

They are keen to speak to FIA or qualified by experience actuaries who have a solid reinsurance background. Individuals must be collaborative and have extensive pricing experience. Previous success in building underwriter relationships is required, as is strong communication skills.

They operate on a hybrid working policy which is on average 3 days a week in the office.
