Reinsurance Lead - Catastrophe Modelling

I'm looking for an experienced professional to lead Reinsurance Cat Modelling Analytics for a high-performing team.

In this strategic role, you will manage third-party modelling partnerships, mentor junior team members, and ensure the delivery of high-quality cat modelling output.

You'll work closely with experts in pricing, planning, and capital, driving forward innovative solutions in portfolio optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:

🔶 Lead change management, analytics, and model evaluation for catastrophe models.
🔶 Build strong relationships with Underwriters, providing transparency and reliable intelligence.
🔶 Mentor and guide junior modellers, supporting their growth and development.
🔶 Manage third-party model teams, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of modelling reports.
🔶 Influence and shape the strategic goals of the function.

Required Skills:

🔷 Strong experience in Reinsurance Cat Modelling.
🔷 Expertise in third-party cat models and back tables.
🔷 Proficiency in SQL, R, or Python (a plus).
🔷 Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
🔷 Experience working with offshore third-party teams.
