Working for a well respected and high performing Private Equity firm, you will join a team focused on the provision of portfolio valuations to the business. This role will develop strong Valuation skills and work closely with the business

Reporting to the Vice President, the position will assist with valuation analysis and oversight on a portfolio of Private Debt. The role will form an integral part of the overall valuations process and the candidate will work closely the Valuation Committee, the Fund Finance Team, the Investment Team, and the Portfolio Data Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Credit Valuation Analysis: Conduct in-depth valuation analysis across our investment portfolio, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry best practices.
  • Strategic Contributions: Provide technical support and resolve valuation-related queries, contributing to continuous improvement in our processes.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside a high-performing team to prepare and deliver accurate NAV reports and valuation outputs.
  • Audit Support: Assist in managing annual audits related to valuations, ensuring seamless communication with external audit teams.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and Pantheon policies, ensuring compliance at all times.

Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Professional Qualification - ACA / CFA / ACCA / FMVA Part or Fully Qualified
  • 2-4 years of experience within Valuations is the appropriate level for the structure of the team and compensation
  • Current or most recent experience within a global consulting firm (Kroll, Top 10 Practice or similar) focusing on valuation of Private Credit
  • Strong Quantitative / Mathematical skills, any experience within financial modelling would be beneficial
  • Valuation, accounting, or auditing experience required, especially relating to private equity funds/ illiquid investments and/or company valuations
  • Knowledge of valuations techniques - DCF, IPEV, Illiquid assets, market multiples etc
