UK Actuarial Market Update and Workplace Attitudes Survey Insight

2024 has seen the high demand for actuarial talent continue with significant hiring levels across the non-life market. Whilst some aspects of this can be attributed to overall growth, the real driving force has been the increased transformation programs in relation to the adoption of data science and analytic techniques/platforms. 

We also conducted an Actuarial Workplace Survey in October 2024 to understand employee attitudes towards hybrid working and their thoughts around compensation packages. Some of the results were shown at our stand at the IFoA GIRO conference. 

This update shares key observations and trends across the actuarial market within the insurance sector and highlights the key data results from our workplace attitudes survey.
